SALKANTAY TO MACHUPICCHU
5 DAYS
CLEAN ADVENTURE
OUR POLICY IS: PLASTICS OFF
It is a custom-designed alternative to the traditional
Inca Trail. Off the beaten path.
It is 5 days 4 nights hike From Cusco, Salkantay to
Machupicchu, all the Nature, Archaeology and Culture
that you may aspect of the Andes is here. Dry, cold and
hot climates, picturing crystal water lagoons above
4,000m or 13,120 ft, cloud fores;t and you as the most
important to care of them, because in our groups we use
to pick up rubbish plastics off the path, do it and you
will reach peas and connection with our Mother Earth or
Pacha Mama,
Prepared campsites, forest, and a clean hot swimming
pool, our service is ecological, we clean and do good
impact to nature and people of surroundings.
1º Day.
We pick you up at about a.m from your hotel by private
bus to the district of Mollepata. We can stop on look
outs to picture the Salkantay mountain (6290mts =
20630fts) etc.
It is understood that we are going to clean, so we'll
need to safe some energy, on that order, we go directly
to the first camping of Soraypampa
by track, because
tracks on road usually pick dust to hikers, we don’t
need to get that dirt.
In stead from the first camping we climb the just open
path to the crystal water lagoon of Soray. That is
cleanest. Is in total 2 hours round trip, ice all
around?
Back to Soraypampa, 3900mts=12792fts. Our cook and
horsemen will be waiting for as with a cup of hot tea
and dinner, guide`s briefing.
2º Day.
At 6 a.m. after break fast stars the hardest day of this
journey. Climbing a 30º sloped path for about 3 hours to
the pass of the Wil God mountain ta the
4650mts or 15252feets above sea level. Then we keep
walking down to
the Lunch place of Huayracpampa (windy flat land)
habitat of little birds, deer, horses, llamas, alpacas,
etc. and clean ss arond. (See pictures). Three
hours later will bed Collpapampa, a typical
ranch camping. There we take lots of hot tea, dinner;
briefing and early sleep.
3º Day
Breakfast at 7:00am, Walk way down appreciating, hot
spring (optional visit), Santa Teresa River, couple of
high water falls, plantations of: passion fruits,
bananas, papayas, coffe. finish at La Playa where we
take lunch and then bus drive to The town of Santa
Teresa (optional fork to lucmabamba, Aobamba) long night
to rest. All the garbage that we could take will be left
here. in the municipal garbage bin.
4º Day
Will be enough to get up at 8 mornings and hike three
hours to the Machupicchu Power Plant & train station.
Last lunch and hike to Aguas Calientes for 2:1/2 hours
through the rail way. Get there and chill out in a good
b & b hostel.
5º Day.
We wake up very early to see the sun rise. We must Take
the first bus to Machu Picchu. (5:30 am.) 25 min trip,
Your tour visits the striking places of the
Archaeological city, then you have the chance to climb
the Waynapicchu Mountain if you booked the ticket, or
you just enjoy by your self. Remains just to wait for
our train back to Cusco and finally transfer to your
hotel.
End of service.
