Trek to the small Cusco
The
Small Cusco or
Huchuy
Qosco, was really a city of kings, is set on the top of a
cliff. It Was belonging of the emperor Wiracocha, father
of Pachacuteq and following kings. They went there for
resting, hunting deers and chinchillas, join their
concubines and get aware of the conquering in the jungle
of the Antisuyo, the last region they wanted join to the
empire. It means the lounge Huchuy Qosqo, was built in
successful days of the Incas.
The architecture is very similar to Cusco, so makes
sense the name small Qosqo. Thankfully is in recovering
process; it is clear was bigger than thought, and had
royal trails to get there.
If you want easy adventures this the one; no dangers,
not high altitude, mainly flat slopes, only the last
hour is zigzag to the bottom of the Sacred Valley, of
course the dramatic geography of the Andes will make it
always interesting, from the highest point we'll see two
ranges of mountains and the meaning of each one, odd
formations of hills and lagoons, are home of migrating
births, native plans with special characteristics,
finally, you will feel many different microclimates in
one day.
It is good for beginners, perfect for fitness, and
lovely if you like less bitten trails.
