To have the best in short time take a well organised
tour.
1º day Cusco
Accommodation in the Morning and city tour:
We pick you up with a private transfer airport/hotel.
Then will be necessary to rest couple of hours for
acclimatize. We recommend to eat few this first day and
take lots of the nutritious coca tee. The afternoon is
for your City tour Cusco; it goes to the most important
monuments such as:
The Cathedral, build in the xvii, is plenty of silver,
gold, paintings of special features and native
religiosity.
The fortress of Saqsay Waman is a megalithic
construction. Was home of the Sun God, second Inca
marvel in Perú.
Qénqo or maze. Is a cave into a rock was the laboratory
for surgery and mummification.
Tambomachay, Cristal Water runs out to give eternal
young and fertility. Don’t take much.
Pucapucara, an old Administrative center to check the
pass to Cusco.
Qoricancha, or Temple of Sun, is the richest
construction in the capital of the empire.
It will last 4 hours in total. Then time for Shopping.
2º day: Sacred Valley of the Incas tour.
We will pick you up at 8:30 am. A bus or van will bring
you first to the Inca city of Pisaq; witch is one of the
most emblematic inca monuments. A hike of 45 minutes
will be enough to try an Inca trail, look the biggest
cemetery here, groups of beautiful terracing and native
people all around.
Then a visit to typical market, where llamas and alpacas
walk and pose for pictures.
Then we go to Urubamba for a buffet lunch, traditional
food is excellent, try a stuff chilly pepper and a shot
of Pisco sour. After lunch we go though the valley
looking the River Urubamba until Ollantaytambo. This is
a Pink granite fortress built with last Inca technology
because was entry to Machu Picchu. That is why we
suggest to stop here and explore the town not rush, and
wait for the train to Machu Picchu in a family hosting.
3º day, Machu Picchu tour
It will be the most exciting day for us, including
guides. We board train early after breakfast, this will
last 1:40 hrs. to the town of Aguas Calientes. And
immediately take a bus to one of the seven marvels. Ones
we arrive to the city, the tour will bring us to
striking buildings such as palaces, temples, lookouts,
etc… 2 hours tour and then free to explore by yourself
the many spiritual places or if possible climb the Wayna
Picchu Mountain. (Book in advance with as).
Lunch can be taken in Restaurants along the Aguas
Calientes Town, while we wait for our train back Home.
End.
